I'm a huge pizza buff and one of my favorites in town since I was a young kid is Verazzanos pizza on Westcliff and Rainbow. My first impression of aoki pizza was definitely of my favorite pizza in town, which is saying a lot. Not sure why people are giving average reviews to this amazing New York style pie. It's NOT greasy and the dough is airy and makes the crust a treat in itself. Definitely give it a try and don't be biased because it's excellent food!

Today I was at the Aoki foundation fundraiser event and there was tons of Pizzaoki pizza. I am not a big fan of pizza normally but I loved the margarita and cheese pizza slices. Way better than your average papa John or Cici or little Caesar's! It tasted even better than the pizza I had last night at Eataly. Great that all the pizzas were available next to the catering food, the slices were more popular than the other food. Says enough!

Pizza arrived COLD & SOGGY. Not sure if the driver forgot his insulated delivery bag but if i wanted cold pizza I would just get it from my fridge. To top it off it didn't even come in a cool Aoki Pizza box AS ADVERTISED!! That's what lured me in, from the get go. I hope they read all the negative reviews from the California yelp page and apply changes.

Huge fan of Aoki's music so we absolutely had to try the pizza! They had a little trouble with thier website, but called to confirm my order. Still had it delivered to me by the original ETA. The crust had a good flavor and I love the sauce. The crust did get a little soggy by the time we got to the last few pieces, but it was still pretty tastey. The delivery person was very nice. My pizza was in a generic pizza box but they brought me a Pizzaoki box too so I'd have one!

Great pizza. We got the meat lovers pizza and it was delicious, will continue ordering from here(ordered on Postmates) BUT two star rating is for false advertising the boxes you don't get. It was in a basic pizza box. Will fix rating if that changes.
